PBS Centenary Dinner

The Pig Breeders Society of South Africa (PBS) was formed on 20 September 1919. From their first AGM held on the 19th of May 1921 and attended by no less than 56 members the PBS spearheaded pedigree pig breeding in South and Southern Africa adapting to change and migrating from classical pig breeding and shows to national performance testing and BLUP to the national footprint of pig breeding companies in the modern era of pig breeding. Hence in 2019, PBS marks a special milestone.
* A ticket to the PBS Centenary Dinner is included in the symposium registration fee and additional tickets for accompanying persons can be booked here.
